The Midnapore Institute of Education Canteen is the absolute heartbeat of daily campus life. Designed to serve our student-teachers, faculty, and administrative staff, the cafeteria provides a healthy selection of foods and beverages that fuel energetic learning and academic productivity.

Our kitchen operates under strict regulatory guidelines to ensure that all ingredients are sourced fresh daily, cooked with high-grade vegetable oils, and served in a clean, sanitized space. The facility is regularly audited by our institutional Hygiene Committee to maintain the highest levels of safety and quality control.

Hygiene & Preparation Safeguards

To secure the physical health of our community, our canteen features these essential protocols:

  • Use of multi-stage RO (Reverse Osmosis) filtered water systems for all cooking, drinking, and cleaning.
  • Daily disposal of wet and dry kitchen waste and routine deep-sanitization of all surfaces.
  • Cooks and food handlers are trained in personal hygiene, wearing clean hairnets, aprons, and protective gloves.
  • Strict avoidance of stale or frozen ingredients, guaranteeing that only freshly prepared batches are served.
  • Comfortable washbasins with antibacterial handwash stations at dining hall exits.
